Pictures of the Year International is a well-known, international competition organized by the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute at the Missouri School of Journalism. Each year the best photographers have a chance to be nominated in this prestigious competition.

During the last year Bartłomiej Jurecki – lecturer of Photography Faculty was the laureate of Black & White Spider Awards. His photos show the wildlife and the category in which he was nominated was the WILDLIFE WINNERS – Professional.

During his career he was also nominated to the Grand Press Photo and  SGL Local Press awards, was the winner of BZ WBK Press Foto and achieve many others successes.

Bartłomiej Jurecki – lecturer of Photography School is also a graduate of SKF Photography Faculty in Cracow School of Art and Fashion design and also the Master of Photography after the PWST School in Poland. He is the lecturer of photo reportage in SKF Photography Faculty in Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design.
